“If you wish to build a boat, do not gather your people, giving them orders, explaining where to find everything. If you wish to build a boat, give birth to a longing for the sea in their hearts.”

– Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

My Story

Hello I’m Jo Weston.  For many years, my career working as a creative strategist was separate from the part of me that cares for about the human and more-than-human world.  I sold mayonnaise and luxury watches, whilst campaigning to stop fossil fuel companies drilling in pristine Arctic waters.

As our environmental crises deepen, my worlds are colliding.  I feel called to respond with the skills that I have.  I understand the language of business, I’ve an arsenal full of creative and strategic problem solving tools.  With my training as a counsellor and years of facilitator experience, I’m capable of holding space for difficult emotions and guiding people on a transformative journey infused with deep knowledge of, and connection with the natural world.

Brand planning has always been about ambitious creativity that brings people and brands together to deliver results for business. Now we have the potential to do this in a way that delivers for nature too.

I care deeply about the climate and biodiversity crises.  That’s why, when you work with Wild Strategy, 10% of all profits are donated to Rewilding Britain, who support a network of rewilding practitioners and whilst seeking policy support for rewilding Britain’s land and seas.
